Heart Hypertrophy

  In our body's heart, the heart dis-order, Cardiac Hypertrophy (myocardial hypertrophy) is a heart enlargement (cardiomegaly) due to chamber hypertrophy, an increase in wall thickness without an increase in the number of cells (cardiac myocytes).
  In our body, cardiac hypertrophy is the clinical diagnostic hallmark of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and a major determinant of morbidity and mortality in various cardiovascular diseases. *
